Although this meeting is not required, it is highly recommended for parents to attend to be available to help others and be supportive to new families. School Starts: Typically, our families school through the year. However, if you took a break during summer, we suggest you start your school year sometime during the month of August.

9/19/10: Free Day at Burritt Museum! Dulcimer Festival. 1-4 pm.

10/14/10: Indian Heritage Festival at Burritt on the Mountain. $7.00 per person. We need to pre-pay so please RSVP with your fees (make checks out to One Faith Ministries) by September 20th.

Fall is always a festive time, and this year's fall festival will be no exception. From 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m., we will have Native American visitors interpret the history of their ancestors through crafts, stories, tools, dance and music. This event also features activities from the farm days of early settlers at harvest time. Presenters will share activities such as pressing sorghum and smoking meat and preparing crops for winter. This is a fantastic and fun way to discover the heritage of the cultures that were - and still are - so important to our region.
